Blurb: Michael Brooks’ life took an unexpected direction when he found the Taylor mansion, a two-story Colonial perfect for a Bed & Breakfast. An untenured college professor, he suddenly became a successful entrepreneur. And best of all, he met sexy deputy Colin Jefferson and they hit it off in a big way. He’s even made friends with a ghost.

Deputy Colin Jefferson is dedicated to his career and to making a life with Michael. Serving the community he loves, he’s well aware of the stories that tell of the Taylor mansion being haunted. Now he’s living there with Michael and Colin knows the stories are true. There’s a ghost with a penchant for wearing denim lurking in his bedroom.

How the ghost came to live in the B&B is a mystery Michael and Colin need to solve. It’s the only way for their resident spirit to find eternal rest. But until then, the ghost makes three…

Review: Michael and Colin are still into each other, a lot, and live together at the B&B.

The Taylor Bed & Breakfast has been renovated and is taking in customers. When a couple by the name of Harrington arrive, Michael gets another clue to Robin’s death—but there is a little trouble in paradise. Colin gets a little jealous over Robin and Michael. He also admits to feeling that Robin could be a threat to him and Michael, and suggests he may leave to take a job with the FBI.

As Michael and Colin continue investigating Robin’s death, more and more pieces start falling into place. Michael seems to get into the investigating on his own, but not without Colin’s warning to be careful and to let him know what’s going on.

This is the second book in the Ghost at the B&B series, continuing the murder mystery from The Ghost Wore Denim. I find this to be humorous and really light reading. The plot to this series is not complicated, and there are more clues added in this installment, but the murder is still not solved.

As I don’t see these books as a standalones, I didn’t think the history of Lightfoot, Virginia needed to be repeated in this story, but the one thing that I am sort of curious to find out is, what will happen to Robin once the murder is solved?
