Previous experience isn’t necessary, but if you review on your own blog, Amazon, or Goodreads, I’d like to read a sample of your work, so please leave a URL link in the comment box as well.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Welcome Liam Livings On The “Best Friends Perfect” Blog Tour

WildeCityPress_logoTNA: Hi, Liam, thanks so much for being here with us today. Why don’t we start off by having you tell us a little bit about yourself: hobbies, interests, things we don’t know about you that you’d like to share with readers?

Liam: I am into cars; I have a subscription to a weekly car magazine and I go to the classic car shows. I’m a member of the Mazda MX 5 Owners Club and the Gay Classic Car Group (GCCG) – a club for gay people who like classic cars. I like to buck the trend for gay guys in this way. I went to the GCCG stand at a big classic car show and they said people were walking onto the stand, then reading the banner with the club’s name, then asking questions like, ‘Is it the cars that are gay?’ or just leaving the stand *head desk*. I love cooking, baking and spending time with friends. I love cats and give a monthly donation to the local cat sanctuary where we adopted our cats from. I also like the normal things people always say are their hobbies: films, music, watching good absorbing TV dramas. I’ve managed to wean myself off I’m A Celebrity Dancing On Ice Get Me Out Of Here Britain Has Talent shows. I would much rather watch The Good Wife, Nashville, Breaking Bad, or on my own – the BF doesn’t come to Stars Hollow with me – a bit of Gilmore girls.

EM Rose Guest Post And Giveaway – The First Time Series Blog Tour

I have always been fascinated by human emotions. I love those moments in books and movies where the characters come face-to-face with their innermost desires and emotions, and their struggle as they fight to overcome them to no avail. Usually their feeling are for the ‘wrong’ kind of person which makes the struggle all the more interesting; how they are not only going against their own better judgment, but possibly against society’s norms.

But love can do strange things to people. And we cannot dictate when and with whom we are going to fall under its spell.

Ashley Ladd, Totally Bound

Ashley Ladd Joins Us Today On The “Cooking Up a Storm” Blog Tour, With A Giveaway

This week I’ve had a lot of reason to think about life, to question what is really important and what isn’t.

Unfortunately, my daughter-in-law’s father died a few days ago. He was only 66 and it was quite unexpected. He didn’t have a will so he obviously wasn’t expecting to die so soon. Don’t worry. I’ve had a will since my children were babies, and I’ve updated it as warranted.

Also my husband was put in the hospital again yesterday. This is his third time he’s been admitted within the past six months, poor guy.

Blue Collar, True Heart: Writing Rural And Lower Class Without Caricature – A Guest Post And Giveaway By Heidi Cullinan

When I was in high school and college, I went on a lot of tours with musical groups, and what I learned most on those trips was as soon as you left the Midwest, people assumed you were a moron. Cities were the worst—New York was beyond the beyond asinine—but pretty much everywhere we went, we had to explain that yes, we really did have toilets in Iowa. Yes, we had microwaves. Yes, we knew what Walkmans were. I imagine the young Iowans traveling today must field questions about whether or not we have Internet or cell phones. (Fact: we even have smartphones!)

The Fragile Writer Ego – GRL Countdown 5 months To Go! – A Guest Post And Giveaway From RJ Scott

2014GRL_BlogTour_sq200x200Do You Suffer From the Fragile Writer Ego?

This article ended up in my inbox. In it the author said:

As writers, we have complicated egos. We can feel confident in other areas of our lives: maybe we know we’re parenting well, or we have other jobs we get kudos for, or we can make a mean mac and cheese or are the Grillmaster of the neighborhood. But when it comes to our writing, we’re just.not.that.sure.

I would love to write here that I do not have a fragile author ego, but I would be lying.

Hot Guys Don’t Eat Pasta – by Rafe Haze

2014GRL_BlogTour_sq200x200There was a tornado warning last Thursday in Denver after Travis and I asked the waiter for the check. Travis and I despised each other from day one, but we both adored our 67-year-old friend Bob. Bob made us promise to play nice for the entire country western dance convention. We couldn’t fucking stand each other, but for Bob’s sake, we agreed to a truce via text prior to arriving in Colorado.

Throwback Thursday And “The Silence of the Stars” – A Guest Post And Giveaway By Kate McMurray

Since it’s Thursday, I thought it might be fun to revisit the past. So let’s take a trip in the Wayback Machine to the late-1980s, when a cute 9-year-old picked up a violin for the first time.

I was blessed to grow up in a lower-middle class New Jersey suburb that somehow had one of the best arts programs in the state. I started taking violin lessons when they were offered to all fourth-grade students. I actually wanted to play clarinet, but the school didn’t have any loaner clarinets available. They did have violins. I figured I’d play for a year and then switch. But then a funny thing happened: I was good enough at the violin that my teacher talked me out of switching to clarinet. And so a young violinist was born.

BoundForTroubleFS (427x640)

Here’s more about BOUND FOR TROUBLE:

Daniel “Deke” Kane is a broken man, facing the end of his career in the FBI. He’s on desk duty after a botched drug raid left the suspects and two children dead. He’s got one chance to prove himself, or the only thing he’ll be investigating is the Help Wanted ads.

Ryan Griffiths has been on the run for ten years. Forced onto the streets when his father kicked him out, Ryan earns his living in other men’s beds. Finding his john dead in a hotel room drives him under the radar until a favorite clients gives him a chance at a safe, clean life. But Ryan’s relatively stable new world shatters when Deke Kane catches up with him.

When Deke’s tasked to take down a drug dealer with terrorist ties and a taste for the dark side of BDSM, his only chance to get close is the suspect’s interest in Ryan, and he convinces Ryan to become a confidential informant. In return, Deke offers Ryan immunity from his past. As Ryan falls under the drug lord’s domination, Deke finds himself falling for Ryan.

ABOUT EM LYNLEY: EM Lynley, a Rainbow Award winner and EPPIE finalist, has worked in high finance, high tech, and in the wine industry, though she’d rather be writing hot, romantic man-on-man action. She spent 10 years as an economist and financial analyst, including a year as a White House Staff Economist, but only because all the intern positions were filled. Tired of boring herself and others with dry business reports and articles, her creative muse is back and naughtier than ever. She has lived and worked in London, Tokyo and Washington, D.C., but the San Francisco Bay Area is home for now.

She is the author of Sex, Lies & Wedding Bells, the Precious Gems series from Dreamspinner Press, and the Rewriting History series starring a sexy jewel thief, among others.

Anatomy Of A Sex Scene – A Guest Post And Giveaway By Rain Carrington

Rain Carrington is our guest today on her Honky Tonk 3: Wedding Bells and Bullets Blog Tour. She’s giving a couple of lucky readers a chance to win some e-books, so read on to see what you can win and how to enter the giveaway.

Starting a sex scene. Preparation! Coffee is key, a cigarette at the ready (yes, I smoke), working lighter, and something in the background to focus me. I prefer music or The Waltons. Yes, the old 70’s TV show. I’ve found that particular show gives me the best background for my writing, especially the sex scenes, don’t ask me why!

Sitting in front of the blank white screen is never so intimidating as when a sex scene is coming up in the story. For sure there is excitement! There is nothing like a good sex scene. However, there are also nerves. I’ve written quite a few sex scenes. In the same book there may be over a dozen so to come up with something new is like climbing a the same mountain over and over trying to see a different view each time.

When Attraction Isn’t Instant – A Guest Post And Giveaway By Skylar M. Cates

We all know that attraction is an odd thing. In real life, I can remember being “just friends” with somebody for many years, not finding them particularly attractive at all, and then KAPOW—sudden chemistry. Why? He was making me laugh really hard, and the attraction took me over.

The Recipe For A Great Night? Susan Mac Nicol Shares Hers, And There’s A Giveaway

My recipe for a great night in….if I had the opportunity to choose a night at home to enjoy myself and was able to choose the time, place and what I’d do, then this is my idea of heaven. I’m a simple soul, who enjoys her own company, and likes nothing better than to indulge myself in this way.

The setting

A log cabin in the woods, surrounded by swaying trees and lofty mountains. There’d be a lake too, with a pier, so in the morning, when the sun rose and the day got warmer, I could run down the pier and jump into the waters of the lake to cool off. The dark would surround the cabin, the crickets would chirp, the night birds would sing and all the serial killers, Tommyknockers and shit-weasels (if you read Stephen King you’ll know this one) and other freaks would stay away. This is my safe haven. No villains allowed.

The “Disappear With Me” Blog Tour Stops Here Today With Dean Pace-Frech And A Giveaway

Here’s to creativity’s ability to make an uncomfortable emotion useful ~ Jill Badonsky

photoOne of the questions I get asked a lot is, what was your favorite part to write. In Disappear With Me, I loved writing the jury deliberation process for a couple of reasons.

First of all, I got to research all the Bible verses that were part of that section. As a lifelong Christian, I got to reacquaint myself with some of the Bible’s most beautiful verses. Many of those verses and their interpretation are the culmination of listening to many of the pastors listed in the dedication at the front of the novel. I also learned some new verses and worked those in with my own (and therefore, Leander’s) wicked perception of their meanings.

“This Is Not a Love Story” – This Is An Interview And Giveaway With Suki Fleet

TNA: Hi, Suki, thanks so much for being here with us today. Why don’t we start out by having you tell us a little bit about yourself? In your author bio, you say you lived an unconventional childhood. Would you care to expand upon that?

Suki: Well, I always thought my childhood was normal until I told people about it. When I was around 8 months old my parents bought a beautiful old wooden fishing boat and we lived on board, travelling between England, the Isle of Man (a small island between England and Ireland where my mum is from) and France. When I was around three, my parents decided to travel to New Zealand but we were shipwrecked on some rocks off the coast of France. The boat sank and we lost everything we had (I have some very damaged photographs of when I was a baby but that is all). After that, we lived in different places in France for a while, and my parents couriered boats between the South of France, Spain and England.

Food, Memories, and Love – A Guest Post and Giveaway by Rick R. Reed

Ricky and Mom 1962It might just be me, but I believe one of the most powerful ways you can show someone you love them is through feeding them. Growing up, the maternal side of my family was Sicilian. And let me tell you, the Sicilians believe in three things: love, family, and food. You simply did not turn down food when you visited my relatives (and you always sat around the kitchen table when you visited, never the living room).
