Blurb: Justin loves Daniel Madsen but Daniel wants nothing more to do with him than use him as a booty call. Daniel is always the one with control of whatever form of relationship they have. But when Justin finds out a dark secret about Daniel’s life, Daniel might have to give up control and see what Justin’s all about.

Review: Here we have another great read from Kol Anderson. I don’t think I’m ever going to get tired of reading his stories. That being said, I know his books aren’t going to be everyone’s cup of tea, and that’s okay. But I gotta say, you’re missing out on some really great stuff.

This story is told by Justin, a man obsessed with Daniel, a controlling Dom who merely uses Justin to shell out his brand of pleasure and pain. Daniel is cold and emotionally shut down during their casual sexual encounters (essentially, a booty call), but Justin thrives on it, and he wants more. He needs more. He goes out and he gets what he wants.

I find that I am strangely fascinated by these two fantastically unique characters. I wanted Justin to run for his life, especially after he knows what Daniel truly is. But, as the story moves along and we really see them together as a couple, I came to the conclusion that these two men actually belong to one another. It’s a bizarre love story, but a love story all the same.

I give credit to the author for taking Justin and Daniel and the reader to the limit, especially the sex scenes. I found myself cringing at times, some of the pain given out was pretty intense. But I also felt the tenderness and connection. I’m telling you, in spite of what these two are all about, I was really wanting a happy ending. Was I going to get it? I didn’t think so.

For being such a short read, this story feels complete. You get all the information you need here in thirty-seven pages. I like the fact there’s an epilogue that wraps everything up. Of course, it’s with a punch to the gut and a holy shit moment, but then, it’s Kol Anderson. I didn’t expect anything less. With Control, he’s at his finest, giving us a twisted tale along with an unconventional storyline.

I love the darker reads and this author definitely delivers. For those of you who are already fans, and to those who want to take a plunge into his world, don’t let this one pass you by.

Ever Wonder What Goes On In Vincent’s Mind? Here’s Your Chance To Find Out.

Excerpt: The man was supposed to meet him at the restaurant at six, but two hours later there was still no sign of him. Vincent was considering leaving, when he saw a heavyset older male moving through the tables, with two younger men in tow. The younger men stood guard, while the heavyset man sat and greeted Vincent. The man dismissed his guards after giving the entire crowded restaurant a thorough once-over, and the bodyguards left their table.

“It’s nice to finally meet you Mr. Carson.” Vincent wished he knew if that was the man’s first name or last but the man didn’t offer that information and this was the only name his contact had given. Probably a fake name as far as Vincent could figure.

“I was under the impression you’d be older,” Carson said, after ordering something to eat.

Vincent’s throat went dry. Did his contact lie about his age? He wasn’t sure what to say, but he wanted badly for this to work. He nervously tugged at his tie, hoping the man couldn’t see he was sweating beneath his suit. “I didn’t know there was an age requirement.”

“There isn’t,” Carson said. Vincent could have sworn the man was enjoying his discomfort. “But it helps if the handlers look older. Creates the kind of authoritative impact we want.”

“I’m twenty-eight,” Vincent said. “Not exactly young.”

The food arrived and Carson dug into his veal while Vincent barely went through the motions. If there was one lesson that life had taught him, it was that appearance was everything. If he could pretend to be assertive for five more minutes it might land him the job.

“You have any experience, Vince?”

“No sir. But I’m a fast learner.”

“I bet you are,” Carson said. “Look, I had you vetted. So I don’t need you to give me some speech telling me why you would be suitable to work for us. I’m already sold on that. My biggest issue is with commitment.”

“Sir, I will be committed to this, I assure you.”

“You do realize that if you say yes, you can never back out?”

Vincent was pretty sure it was the same deal for just meeting a guy like Carson face-to-face but he played along. “I understand.”

“And you’re still asking to join?”

“What do you need, Vince?”

“The money, sir.”

“Everyone needs money,” Carson said. “That’s not news. Tell me what you really need.”

“I’m not sure what you’re asking me.”

“Power,” Carson said. “That’s what you’re after, isn’t it? Your mother got cancer so you need money for treatment, but you hate not having any power over her illness a lot more than you hate not having the money.”

Vincent stared at Carson, speechless. In two sentences, the man had summed up his entire life. “There’s nothing wrong with needing power is there?”

“No, Vince. On the contrary, people who don’t have power are nothing more than sacrificial lambs for those who do have it. It’s the way of the world. If you’re not the one holding the knife, then you will be the one getting slaughtered.”

Kol Anderson Is Here Today To Offer You The Chance To Win His Latest Release “The Prisoner: The Broken Series Complete Collection”

If you haven’t read the first two of the stories in this set, The Prisoner and Hell & Beyond, now is the time to find both books all in one place, as well as the third and final installment in the series, The Escape.

In celebration of it’s release, Kol Anderson is offering the chance for FIVE lucky readers to win an e-copy of the complete collection. All you have to do is leave a comment right here, and you’re automatically entered in the running.

BLURB: Aaron Taylor is a rent-boy.
The Dream everyone wants to come true.

Vincent Greene is the client from hell.
The man who wants to make sure that dream ends up BROKEN.

Just when Aaron thinks his life is beginning to make sense, his handler sends him to a new client. Vincent Greene looks like he might just be Aaron’s best client yet, but what Aaron doesn’t know, is that under Vincent’s alluring facade, lurks a heart capable of extreme cruelty.

(Complete version with all three books in the BROKEN series.)

EXCERPT: Aaron hadn’t realized how many people there were in the world. The streets were obviously full of them and so were the buses. Every step he took, he was afraid he was going to get lost. Even with all the exposure therapy, and an entire week of trying, he wasn’t ready to do this. But he had a purpose. And that purpose gave him the kind of strength he didn’t think he had. The next street finally looked familiar enough. One of his friends from his past life had taken him here once. He had never been in need of drugs, and so had no reason to search for it, but his friend and needed something and brought him here. This was the last place he was supposed to be, and yet here he was, looking for some dealer and acting like he had everything in control, when he could feel the tension in his neck from all the strain his head was putting onto his body, and he could hear the slightly out of rhythm beating of his heart. When he found the face he had been searching for, he walked up to him, hoping his strides were confident enough. Any nervousness and the dealer would suspect foul play and Aaron wouldn’t be able to get what he came here for. It was the kind of waste he couldn’t afford.

“Hi,” he said, trying his best to act normal. “Are you, Thomas?”

The man was in his forties, and looked like he finished half of his own stuff. But when he smiled, he did it with a calmn Aaron wished he felt. “Who’s asking?”

“I’m Aaron,” he said, remembering the ‘code.’ “I was told you can get me something I need.”

Aaron tried to keep up the charade of confidence, hoping Thomas wouldn’t notice the sweat under his collar. “Please,” he said. “I really need your help. I have money. I can pay double if you want.”

The greed was apparent on Thomas’ face. “I might be able to help you,” he said. “My place is just around the corner. If you come with me, I can get you what you need.”

Shit. “I don’t think I have time for that,” Aaron tried to come up with an excuse.

“Are you a first timer?”

And now Thomas was getting the wrong ideas. Aaron knew that kind of behavior screamed undercover operation. “I’m not a first timer,” he said. “Just someone in a bit of a hurry.”

“I don’t care if you’re late to meet the damn President,” Thomas said. “You know the deal. If you need the stuff, you do the first shot with me. It’s in the best interests of all parties involved.”

When Aaron hesitated, Thomas glared at him. “Well?” he said. “Are you coming or not?”

Aaron hadn’t come this far to go back home without getting what he needed. He had gone through all the effort of trying to get here, of giving up his newfound phobias and made it all the way across town to get here on his own. He wasn’t about to leave empty handed. Who knew when he’d be able to muster the courage for something like this again? He checked to see if anyone was looking, then he turned to Thomas. “Let’s go.”

At Its “Heart”, Kol Anderson Delivers More Than Just The Usual

“And that makes me happy. For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there’s something stronger-something better, pushing right back.” – Albert Camus

Kol Anderson Is Here Today To Share Some “Heart” And To Give You A Chance To Win

Lucas Mayer is a hit-man, running from his past, and the one person he can think of having a future with is Roman Woodrow, a guy who’s always had trouble keeping steady relationships. Among the many addictions of Roman, is the devious and manipulative, Daniel Jones. But Lucas can’t give up Daniel’s secret without giving up his own.

The Grand Hotel Wien’s multistory building appeared in front of them. Lucas remembered it from two of their previous encounters, where he had to wait in the lobby. The popular Tietz-designed façade was visible in all its historical glory, and Lucas understood why Roman had picked out this place for his stay. “I see the wisdom in choosing a hotel five minutes from the State Opera,” he said, as they entered the lobby through the main entrance.

“There are plenty of better hotels,” Roman admitted. “But I like the feel of this one. It doesn’t let you forget where you are.”

Roman led the way to the elevators, and they stopped on the fifth floor. He walked across the white painted halls towards the entrance to his suite, and swiped the magnetic key. Lucas followed him inside. “Wow,” he said, checking out the décor. “Now, I’m really feeling bad for myself.”

“Life-long slavery to my father has it perks I suppose,” Roman said, sitting on the couch, and started taking off his shoes.

“With that kind of money, I’m surprised you don’t have a vacation home here.” Roman looked up.

“You do have a vacation home here, don’t you?”

“It’s being used by a friend of my father ’s friend at the moment,” Roman said, placing his shoes aside. “Some favor he owed.”

“I’m guessing the privacy and independence this place offers is an advantage you prefer over some family home.”

“That too.”

Lucas walked over to the window wall where the mild traffic on the Kaerntner Ring 9 was visible beyond the glass. “Great view,” he said. “Reminds me how much I’m going to miss this place.”

“I hope you don’t mean the hotel room,” Roman said, from behind him. Lucas covered the distance between them and kissed Roman a little harder this time. He broke the kiss, and then looking into Roman’s eyes, he smiled. Roman’s face had changed, as if he could feel the heat coming off of Lucas. He leaned into him and tilted his head, giving Lucas access to his neck and Lucas began to lightly kiss up the expanse of bare skin, and the smell of him made Lucas’ cock twitch.

He could feel the tremors as Roman’s body answered his call and he allowed Lucas to move his mouth further towards his ear, nibbling on the lobe. Roman hard cock pressed against his in attempt to get some friction. They started kissing again and Roman led him towards the couch, pushing him to sit, while he got between Lucas’ legs and slid the pants off him, taking the briefs and leaving Lucas bare from the waist down. When Roman’s tongue started gliding over Lucas’ cock, Lucas was sure he was about to explode. “Fuck, Roman!”

It didn’t help that Roman was incredibly good. Lucas dropped his head back and let himself get carried away. Every minute that Roman was with him seemed perfect, and like everything he had ever wanted. Roman used his mouth on him for a long time, and when he thought Lucas was ready he stood up. “I’ll get the condoms,” he said, and started to take off his shirt, tossing it aside on his way to the bedroom. When he came back out, he was naked and holding a bottle of lube and condoms in one hand, and his cock stood erect in front of Lucas, bare and waiting. Lucas, who was resisting the urge to stroke himself, never got a chance to think as Roman straddled him on the sofa, and taking Lucas’ cock and pulling a condom over it, he slowly started lubing it up. Lucas reached for the lube and smeared some on his fingers, and pulling Roman closer, his hand caressed Roman’s ass as he slid first one, and then two lubed fingers in, moving them in and out. Roman grunted and his hands gripped Lucas’ shoulders for support, and his cock rubbed against him. Lucas started moving his fingers faster, and Roman kissed him again, making Lucas long for release.

“Fuck me,” Roman whispered, and Lucas took his finger out, and used that hand to place his cock against Roman’s ass, and Roman shifted to give him better access. Lucas would have gone slower but Roman just forced himself on him, and took control of the movements. Roman’s hand started moving over his own cock in a frenzy—he was riding Lucas, and Lucas was sure he was about to come, but Roman was the first one to find release. Just the sight of Roman’s cum on his chest and the feeling of being ass deep in him was enough to bring Lucas to orgasm. Roman’s body flopped over Lucas, panting and sweaty. Finally, Roman climbed off him. “Want to take a bath with me?” he asked.

“I don’t know.”

“What’s the matter old man?” Roman said. “Afraid I’m going to make you go a second time?”

“Should I be?”

Roman grinned. “Let’s just see what happens.” He walked into the bedroom as Lucas took off the shirt he was wearing, feeling a little silly now that he was naked, and the moment of passion had passed. He watched as Roman filled the bath, and waited for the water to achieve the right temperature. When he was satisfied, he stepped inside. The water was already foaming when Lucas got in. Roman sat across from him and lit up a smoke. Lucas felt his stare as he tried to shift into a better position. “Not that comfortable having two people in a bathtub,” Roman said. “Not at all like you see in the movies.”

“Maybe, they’re just really skinny people.”

“Hey! I’m skinny too.”

“Yes, but I’m not,” Lucas said.

“And what is this obsession guys have with being skinny anyway?”

“Maybe we just want to fit in bathtubs, Luke. Ever think of that?”

Roman’s gaze bore into him as Lucas tried to search for something to talk about, but Roman beat him to it. “You don’t fuck like you look,” he said, on an inhale.

Lucas watched the wisps of smoke disappear into the humid air. “What’s that supposed to mean?”

“That you don’t fuck like you look.”

“I mean, is that a compliment?”

“Yes, yes of course! Definitely a compliment,” Roman replied. “I just mean, you know how you sometimes see people and you wonder how they’re going to be in bed? For instance, I had this incredibly hot teacher at NYU and he used to wear glasses, and I always wondered if he took them off when he was fucking. Two months later, I walked in on him boning the librarian, and he was still wearing them. He saw me, but he never stopped fucking her. He just smiled at me, like it was the most natural thing to do, and kept going, sure I wasn’t going to rat him out.”

“Either that, or he was so lost in the moment, he really didn’t care.”

“Exactly,” Roman said. “So, you know, sometimes when you see a person, you picture them in those naughty postures, but in my experience it’s always different from the reality. Not better or worse, just different.”

“Did my reality disappoint you?”

“I told you it was a compliment.”

“But you admit you were picturing me in naughty postures before we even kissed?”

“I was picturing you in naughty postures when I sat with you in the airplane.”

“That can’t be true.”

“It is,” Roman said. “The minute I saw you my mind went straight to sex. Don’t tell me yours didn’t.”

“Isn’t that kind of useless? I mean what if I wasn’t gay?”

“What’s that got to do with anything?”

“I’m just saying it would be disappointing.”

“No, it would be natural to see a hot guy and to have your mind go straight to sex. What happens afterwards is completed unrelated.”

“And by that definition, I’m a hot guy?”

“You’re hot by every definition,” Roman said, stubbing out the cigarette in a tiny crystal ashtray.

“Yeah, right.”

“I’m sitting here in my bathtub with you, and you’re still not convinced.”

“Fine,” Lucas said, running his hands over Roman’s legs. “You convinced me.”

Roman smiled, and his foot lodged itself close to Lucas’ balls under the water. Lucas tried to find something else to concentrate on, but Roman’s lips were making it difficult. All he could think of doing was to kiss him again, so he tried to lure the conversation away from sex. “What are your plans for tomorrow?”

“Why?” Roman asked. “What’s special about tomorrow?”

“Nothing,” Lucas said. “Besides the fact that I have a plane to catch.”

“You’re leaving?”

“That was the plan,” Lucas said. “Unless, we make some new plans.”

Roman stared into his eyes. “Why do we have to make plans?” he said, his foot reaching the most awkward places. “Can’t we just live in the moment?”

“Sure,” Lucas said. “We can do that.”

Roman’s foot moved again, and Lucas jumped. “I don’t like tomorrows,” Roman said. “It makes me miserable thinking about some tentative future that may or may not happen when I have you right here, right now, and everything’s so great.”

“I’m starting to think you might be right.”

“I wish this was it,” Roman said, suddenly and his voice took on a darker tone. “I wish the rest of my life was trapped in this moment. That I had no other feelings to feel ever again, but the way I’m feeling with you right now.”

“That’s a beautiful thing to say.”

“No,” Roman whined. “It’s actually a very depressing thing to say!”

“Are you depressed?”

“Not particularly,” Roman said. “Just about as depressed as anyone who has to suffer life, I guess.” His foot stopped moving. “I know what you’re thinking—typical existential bullshit.”

“Come here,” Lucas said.

“Just come over here.”

Roman used the corners of the bathtub to propel himself forward and carefully went closer to Lucas, knees between his thighs, and Lucas drew him in for a kiss. “Whatever it is that’s bothering you,” he said. “You have a lifetime ahead of you to deal with it.”

Kol Anderson’s “Soulmate” Is A Story Of Survival

“For better or worse, he is my soul mate. The other half of me. In many ways, he is my reflection.” ― Sylvia Day

This story had me from page one, as do all of Kol Anderson’s books. His writing just sucks you in and doesn’t let you go. His stories are dark and heartbreaking, his words play on very human emotion. His characters are so unforgettable they stay with you long after this story is over. To me, that is great storytelling.

Soulmate deals with two brothers who’ve survived a horrific childhood, losing their mother when they were young (Hunter was eleven and Kayden was four) and being left with a father who was very mean and abusive. Hunter, being the older brother, did his best to protect his younger brother, basically becoming a surrogate parent.

TNA: Hi, Kol, it’s so great having you here with us today. Thanks for stopping by. So, why don’t we get right to it?

TNA: Who would you say are your biggest literary influences?

KA: Bret Easton Ellis, Dostoevsky and Oscar Wilde.

TNA: Who would you say was your biggest real-life influence? Was there someone who encouraged your love of writing?

KA: I have friends who have always believed in me. They were always there and I felt their encouragement and they still help keep me going to this day.

TNA: You write about some pretty intense subject matter. What attracts you to the darker side of sex in your writing and makes you want to push those boundaries a little?

KA: I’m attracted to the darker side of life in general, so naturally the same goes for the MM stuff I’ve been writing so far. I don’t think I ever sit down and think “yeah, how can we make this darker?” Some character will show up inside my head, and I’ll sit down and start writing and go where the story takes me. As for pushing boundaries, I think erotica writers are supposed to push boundaries. I don’t know how long we can keep writing the formula-based stories and still feel inspired and churn out good work.

TNA: Is there anything you would never write about, anything you consider taboo that will never make its way into one of your books?

KA: Look, we all know what’s right and what’s wrong. Molesting children is wrong. Period. You don’t need someone to tell you that and if you do, that’s a whole other debate. So as far as consensual adults go, why should I care what they do or don’t do? But yes, everyone has likes and dislikes, and I’ve never been into bodily fluids, etc. There’s some bloody stuff going on in the books, but that’s just my noir/horror-lover side talking. I may always have some very violent stuff going on. But like I said, I never write something to just disturb the reader; I write it to explain the situation as best as I can, in the way I want to. The Prisoner, for instance, is a story about a guy getting raped and tortured and still trying to survive. If you’re into the rape fantasy thing, you will like the scenes but if you’re not, it will be a bit too gory for you, but what can I say? I can’t write something that pleases every person on the planet.

TNA: So, speaking of the dark and steamy and taboo, tell us, if you will, a little bit about your upcoming release, Soul-Mate.

KA: Soul-Mate is a story about a guy who finds himself being attracted to his brother, whereas the brother isn’t even aware of it. It’s not the whole “oh, my brother gave me a hicky and I still can’t tell it’s incest” plot either. Just like the other stories that I write, there’s a whole lot going on in the background that propels the story forward. It is definitely steamy and definitely taboo but hey, you know, it’s like Tarantino says, “You don’t go to see Metallica and ask the fuckers to turn the music down.” ;)

TNA: Do any of your characters ever surprise you with the intensity of their wants and needs as you’re fleshing them out?

KA: I think Vincent (The Prisoner) did. I mean he’s an asshole and I’ve always secretly liked him. I know it’s the masochist in me talking but seriously he’s a psycho. People wonder if real human beings can go from one mind frame to another in so little time, if they can be that unpredictable, well I can only say you haven’t met my exes. I am writing another full-length novel by the title of HEART and those characters are very intense and they keep surprising me.

TNA: Of all the characters you’ve created, do you have a favorite? If so, who and why?

KA: Well, right now, the story that I’m working on, HEART, that MC is most definitely my current favorite. But from previous ones, I’d say Aaron is my favorite character. He’s not manipulative, he’s forgiving and despite the whole thing with Vince, he still falls in love with him. To some people that might seem like a weakness, and they might think of him as insecure, but I think he just does it for love. Because he doesn’t know any other way. Because when he gets even a small bit of kindness or love from someone, he makes sure he gives a lot more in return. I think he forgives people for their shortcomings and just loves them, warts and all.

TNA: Do you have an all-time favorite literary character? If so, who and why?

KA: Tyler Durden. I mean I love that guy, doesn’t matter if he’s the typical office-going loser or the instigator of Project Mayhem. I love his voice. I love his voice when he’s telling me about Marla Singer and insomnia and I love his voice when he speaks like a soap salesman cum film projector technician. I’m not a supporter of nihilism, but I love that idea in fiction. Okay, so maybe just a teeny tiny bit nihilistic…

TNA: I know you and I both share a mad love for Oscar Wilde. If you were able to sit down and talk with him, what are some things you’d like to ask him?

KA: Well, I’d definitely ask him why he couldn’t have made those characters a little more gay. Also, how much of Henry’s ramblings were actually his own secret beliefs.

TNA: Would you care to share a little bit of information on any of your current WIPs?

KA: I think I want to talk about HEART. It’s the first full-length that I’m working on, and I really think it’s going to be one of my best works so far. It’s the story of a guy who’s a slut in every sense of the word. He literally sleeps around like nobody’s business. But he has that one night stand only rule, right? Now suddenly, after this particular one night stand, he has sex with someone who’s actually mean to him. But he can’t help falling for him all the same. Of course, the love interest in concern just looks like a major jerk and comes across as manipulative.

TNA: Where can readers find you on the internet?

KA: I have a profile on goodreads and Amazon http://amazon.com/author/kolanderson and https://www.facebook.com/authorkolanderson.

TNA: Would you like share an excerpt from Soulmate with us?

KA: Here’s the excerpt:

Kayden rubbed his hands in an effort to warm them but the cold he felt wasn’t because of the weather alone. He was getting anxious and nothing had even gone down yet. He came out of the bar and turned into the back alley that was usually filled with people looking for a fast fuck but for some reason happened to be entirely deserted today.

“Hey,” Kayden heard the male voice before he saw him walking his way.

“Hey,” he said in return.

The boy stood there, green eyes glinting under the effect of the streetlights. His face had an oddly exotic appeal with the dark hair and high cheekbones. His eyes watched Kayden closely and he showed no desire to hide it. He lit a cigarette before he introduced himself.

“I’m Jacob,” he offered his hand. It was the first time Kayden had an actual feel of him and he couldn’t help but feel a little tingle inside.

Jacob was still staring at him with mischief in his eyes. “You don’t remember me do you?”

Kayden tried to jog his memory. “Should I?”

“Perhaps I wasn’t able to make the kind of impression on you that you made on me.”

“I don’t understand.”

“I’m sorry I have a knack of being cryptic,” Jacob said. “We bumped into each other—literally bumped—back at Beretta’s hangout. Remember? You were coming out and I was going in and we collided by the sliding door?”

“Right, I remember now.”

The grin on Jacob’s face widened. “Why are you nervous?”

Kayden tried to look away. “No reason.”

More staring.

“So?” Jacob asked at last. “Your place or mine?”

“Your place is fine.”

Jacob blew smoke through his nose and smiled. “Sure about this?”

Kayden rubbed his hands together again. “I’m sure.”

Jacob’s eyes were still prying, searching as he took the remainder of the cigarette out of his lips and ground it under his boots.

“Let’s go.”

Thanks again to Kol for being here with us today.

“Something unappeased, unappeasable, is within me; it longeth to find expression. A craving for love is within me, which speaketh itself the language of love.” – Friedrich Nietzsche

I’ve previously read two books from this author that I absolutely loved, so I knew what I was getting myself in for when I started reading this one.

Jesse is a sub let go by his cheating Dom, Matt, after a three year relationship. Jesse is at a loss on what to do. He’s been replaced in Matt’s life. He must find a way to get him back at any cost. He seeks out a Dom named Noah, who is known for his sadistic treatment of his subs. Jesse’s time with Noah is not for the faint of heart. It’s blatant torture and abuse, and at times, a little hard to read. Jesse wants this from Noah, craves it, needs to feel something other than his broken heart. I loved how the author put us in that room, made us feel Jesse’s desperation.

The bulk of the story is told from Jess’s POV, so at first I really didn’t like Matt. How could he leave Jesse all alone and lost? After seeing the way he took care of Jesse after a session with Noah, there was no doubt Matt still loved him. He showed such tenderness and concern for Jesse’s well being that it was hard for me to understand why he would leave him. I’m glad we got to see a bit of Matt’s perspective too, we finally know why he felt he couldn’t live up to Jesse’s expectations. Jesse sees him as more than a person, has put him on a pedestal, but he’s just a regular guy and feels as though Jesse will be better off with someone else.

Now Noah has a story to tell. We don’t get much from him in this story, but I would love to know why he needs to give out harsh punishments to subs. He seems so sad and lonely. He wants Jesse for his own, but knows it’s never going to happen. Is this why he was so hard on Jesse? I’m intrigued by the many layers this character must have.

This is a short story with some life lessons the characters learn the hard way. This isn’t a story for the person who wants sunshine and happy times. This is a story of someone in pain, who has been pushed aside and let go by the one person who is everything in his world.

This is a HEA story, despite the dark beginning. Highly recommend it!!!

Kol Anderson Is A “Slave” To Giveaways!

Slave by Kol Anderson

It’s the worst feeling in the world, seeing him with someone else. There’s nothing I wouldn’t do, no limits I won’t go to get him back. But he won’t give me a chance. He won’t so much as look at me because he thinks I don’t belong to him anymore.

But that’s the whole thing.

I don’t belong anywhere.

Doesn’t matter where I go or who I am with I am always alone. There is something wrong with me, there has to be because no one else seems quite as miserable at being without a master.

But don’t we all owe our freedom to something?

People are slaves, aren’t they? To their jobs, to their partners, to their children, even to their lifestyles?

We all have those little kinks that we don’t tell anyone about, because we think we’re going to be judged for them, and because we’re slaves to society’s rules.

In a world where slavery is the norm I’m a slave to my needs.
To him.

And I need to get him back.
