SERIES: The Rock Series #2
AUTHOR: Sandrine Gasq-Dion
PUBLISHER: Skull Blaster Publishing
COVER ARTIST: Kellie Dennis
LENGTH: 52,000 words
RELEASE DATE: October 30, 2015

BLURB: Jinx Jett is a rock superstar. As such, the hunky Skull Blasters drummer thoroughly enjoys the many perks of willing groupies, earning him a reputation as the band slut. Making it big and scoring hot women is something Jinx never expected. There’s a little voice in the back of his mind constantly reminding him of how he used to be — shy, overweight and acne prone. One night in a gay bar turns life upside down when Jinx runs into Jayden Dempsey, a kid he’s been fantasizing about since giving him his autograph at a mall. Long-held insecurities keep Jinx from fully committing to anyone, and he may lose Jayden if he can’t put his past behind him.

Jayden Dempsey always wanted out of his life in small-town Alabama. When his parents kicked him out after he told them he was gay, Jayden decided the time was right to move on. He crosses the country to try out for ‘Singers!’, a show that propels unknowns to stardom. In a twist, producers choose him and three others as winners and form a boy band called London Boys. This season, the show brings Jayden and the guys back for the finale. Surprise! The contest’s heavy metal finalist will be singing with Skull Blasters.

Jinx and Jayden’s initial meeting doesn’t go so well, and Jayden’s stunned when the guy he’s crushed on for years turns out to be a total jerk. It doesn’t stop him from falling into Jinx’s arms every time they’re alone, but Jayden didn’t sign on for one nighters. He wants Jinx Jett, baggage and all.

Can a former teen outcast put rejection behind him and embrace the acceptance standing right in front of him? How much will one boy bander put up with from his rock idol before enough is enough? Can they make it work? Or are they jinxed in love?

Review: Fret by Sandrine Gasq-Dion

Title:  Fret (The Rock Star Series: Book One)

Author:  Sandrine Gasq-Dion

Publisher:  Skull Blaster Publishing

Page/Word Count:  232 Pages

At a Glance:  I think Fret is an awesome start to this new series.

Reviewed By:  Karen

Blurb:  Former Navy SEAL Axel Blaze lives a solitary life. He doesn’t do emotions, and he doesn’t do babysitting. Used to being on his own, his job consists of Wetwork (a charming term coined by the KGB) for his former Master Chief, Mac. When an out-of-the-ordinary job lands on his doorstep, Axel heads down a path that includes a famous heavy metal rock band and one quiet, vulnerable, guitar-shredding virtuoso named Gareth Wolf.

Gareth Wolf’s life changed in an instant when a car he was a passenger in crashed, hurting his brother’s best friend and the band’s lead guitarist. They created the band, Skull Blasters, as kids. Gareth had always been happy in the background, playing roadie. With the lead guitarist’s injury, Gareth is suddenly thrust into the limelight and into a frenzied life he never imagined for himself. Finally fed up with living a lie, Gareth comes out as gay in a newspaper interview and finds himself in the bulls-eye of a crazed stalker. Somebody wants Gareth hurt – or worse – and Mac has been hired to be sure that doesn’t happen. Babysitting duty is NOT Axel’s strong suit, but Mac won’t be budged.

Enter Axel Blaze. Against his better judgment, the big man takes the job to protect the shy musician. The more time he spends with Gareth Wolf, the more he admires the man. Where’s a simple assassination when you need one? The situation becomes more volatile for each man as the attempts on Gareth escalate just as Axel finds himself falling for the quiet lead guitarist.

Strong, funny, smart-ass — and kinda sweet Axel is everything Gareth has ever wanted in a man. Too bad he’s off limits. As the stalker grows bolder, Gareth and Axel move closer emotionally – but is it too late? All Axel knows is that they don’t stand a chance if he can’t find the maniac trying to kill the man he’s come to care about. A lot.

Everyone knows that relationships that begin in pressured or volatile situations eventually fizzle out. Or do they?

Review:  I think if you have read any of Sandrine Gasq-Dion’s series, you kind of know what to expect when it comes to her writing. You get super strong and sexy alphas who are crazy protective of their guys, which you absolutely get in this book. Also, as with all of this author’s books, the story is super-hot.

I think Fret is an awesome start to this new series. To be completely honest, it’s all kinds of predictable, but with that being said, I still loved it and couldn’t put it down. Axel and Gareth are pretty adorable together. Actually, I really liked all the guys in the story. Well, with the one exception, but you kind of see it coming so you have a chance to build up and really not like him by the time everything goes down.

The mention of the bands from one of my other favorite series was fantastic and made me smile. Mac, and especially his wife Christy, had me chuckling every time they were around.

I get the strong relationship between Gareth and his brother Ransom because I’m really close to my brother and feel the same kind of protectiveness toward him. From the minute I saw my brother when he was a baby, to today, I would do anything for him, so I enjoyed seeing that between Gareth and Ransom throughout the book.

I’m really looking forward to Jinx’s story and to following along with more of the guys in the series.

A lot of people ask me the same question all the time, why male romance? This whole journey began in 2010 while I was watching a soap opera. The gay couple on the show was written so beautifully, I fell in love with them immediately. I began writing fan fiction once the show was cancelled and posted a chapter a day. For two years I wrote stories on the fan site until one day, an avid reader told me I should publish a book. I wrote A Marked Man a few months later and then three more books after that. I sent A Marked Man to a few publishing houses and one of them was very interested. After checking out their offer, I was pointed towards Kindle Direct Publishing and decided to go that route.

I haven’t looked back.

I’ve written thirty-three books and I have no plans to stop. I have a few more books in the Assassin/Shifters and about 7 more in the Olympians. I also have two more books in The Men of Manhattan Series plus the five in Rock Series. I am panning one more book in the Angel series to follow up with Second Time Around and Gabriel’s Fall.

The Idea of FRET came when another author wanted to do an anthology about Rockers/Actors. Well, my mind jumped all over that and FRET was born. Writing FRET was so much fun, as I was hanging out with a band in Flagstaff and got to hear all about their touring life. I am still taking drum lessons and will begin guitar lessons again soon. I now live in the town I’m writing about and love it!

I’m really excited to bring you FRET. I’ve spent the last 3 months researching bands, instruments and talking/spending time with Aarin, Mikey and Doug of “No Other Option”. I came across them while looking for a band to sit down and talk with. Well, I found them and knew I didn’t need to look any further. They’ve been included in the book with speaking parts because they are Just. That. Awesome.

Part of the proceeds of the books sales are going to Aarin’s soon-to-be-mother-in-law to help her in her fight against breast cancer. There are few things in my life that I feel I have to contribute to, finding a cure for cancer in any form is at the top of my list. I hope that you all come to love Gareth and Axel as much as I do and continue to read about them in the next four books. Hang in there, so much more is coming!

Fret is the story of Gareth Wolf, lead guitarist of the band “Skull Blasters”. After coming out as gay in the papers, Gareth gets himself a stalker. Fearful for Gareth’s safety, the bands manager calls in a bodyguard.

Enter Axel Blaze.

Axel is a former Navy SEAL that doesn’t do feelings or emotions. Raised in a military environment, Axel never really made friends or had relationships. When the two come together, sparks fly—and not the good kind at first

Stay tuned for much, much more!!

At a Glance: Sets us up beautifully for the next couple of books in the series

Blurb: Dario Ramos thought he’d left the fighting behind in the war zone when a life-threatening injury sent him home. But a certain Irishman crossing his path everywhere he went convinced him that his biggest battle might be ahead. Tiernan Callahan is a bigoted jerk. Ramos finds himself constantly in the man’s orbit, even in a city as big as New York. The wounded warrior knows all about pain and loss — and that sometimes anger is the only form of release. When Tiernan once again crowds Ramos’ space, his eyes are opened to the possibility of other forms of release.

Tough NYC cop Tiernan Callahan is still mourning the death of his beloved youngest brother, Mason. Fearing his close-minded family’s reaction, the young soldier never got to tell them his secret — that he was gay and engaged to the love of his life. Tiernan is surviving on anger and guilt. When he continues to run into Dario Ramos, who continues to push his buttons, something inside him snaps. Suddenly, anger isn’t the only emotion he feels.

Two very different men, still trying to heal: Can they come to an understanding and heal each other?

Review: It is hard to believe but this is already the fifth book in Sandrine Gasq-Dion’s “Men of Manhattan” series. I’ve been reading it since book one and have to say that this is one of my most anticipated books of the series. I’ve loved Ramos since he was introduced in the earlier books. On the other hand, I loathed Tiernan from the moment I was introduced to him. I have to admit that I didn’t know if Ms. Gasq-Dion was going to be able to sell me on Tiernan as a love interest, but I am happy to say that all of my doubt was just downright silly.

All of Tiernan’s faults were thought to be because he is homophobic. When the truth of Tiernan’s anger began to unfold in this story I found myself doing the unthinkable: feeling sympathy for his sorry behind!

Ramos is just…Ramos. He’s sarcastic, flirty, funny and protective of the ones he loves. His one liners were, as always, epically funny.

What began as a story of two men who hated each other on principal, turns into a story of two men who hate to love each other and man, that is totally sexy.

Ramos is a “take life as it comes” kind of guy, living in the gray areas of life. Tiernan is a by-the-book cop who has lived his life the way everyone expects him to. When these two immovable forces meet, it is inevitably going to cause an earthquake, and what an earthquake it is. These two had the temperature rising when they finally got together and WOW did they get it together. Heat wasn’t the only thing these two shared, though. It seemed like they just GOT one another. Tiernan accepted Ramos just the way he is, and Ramos saw the real Tiernan when no one else could. They really did seem to be made for one another.

It was so much fun to see the usual cast of characters again and we get to meet a few new guys who are sure to turn some of these men inside out. Danny, Tiernan’s new partner on the force, is AMAZING, and all I have to say is that he should never be allowed to spend any time alone with Slater. That would surely be the start of the apocalypse.

As with most of her books, Sandrine Gasq-Dion has set us up beautifully for the next couple of books in the series and if they are anywhere near as good as this one, they will be totally fantastic.

Hey guys!! So excited to be bringing you Dirty Ross while I’m in Tampa for RainbowCon!! I’m bringing with me one of my special assassins! Jordan Levine will be joining me there and I’ll have some swag to give away!

If you’ve been reading the series, you know that Ross and Cole have been dancing around each other for the last few books. Cole came on kinda strong, and Ross had to put him in his place. It’s been almost a year now, and Ross is slowly succumbing to Cole’s charms (Snort). The push and pull comes to a head in this book. and I can’t wait to hear from you all! Look for it in April while I’m in Tampa. ;)

Coming up in the months after Dirty Ross are Lux Ex Tenebris, Strange Addiction, and Savage Love. As always, most of the time I can give you a month for a release date, but no day. As my editor has a full time job, she edits my books when has time. I think she does a damn find job of it!

Enjoy an excerpt from Dirty Ross. Those of you on my Facebook pages have already seen it. :)

Excerpt:

“Hello, Mount Everest. I’ve got my pickaxe and rope.”

Ross couldn’t help the chuckle that escaped him. Cole was back in full form. Ross turned slowly and eyed the man from head to toe. Jesus, Cole looked good enough to bang. His inner wolf was screaming mine, mine, MINE! Shit, he really needed to get laid, and soon. Ross reeled in his wolf and relaxed against the bar, smiling.

“Conditions are grave on the peak tonight, my friend.”

“I’ve got my arctic tent, too.” Cole waggled his brows.

“What’ll ya have, Cole?” PJ asked.

“The man in front of me.” Cole licked his lips, giving Ross Collins a once over.

“Now, Cole, I’ve told you I don’t do ménages.” PJ pointed a finger at Cole.

Ross cracked up. “I’ll have a beer, PJ.”

“That’s good, PJ, because I don’t share.” Cole leaned in to Ross’ face. “What’s mine is mine.”

Oh hell. Ross leaned back a little, their eyes locked and his dick sat up and took notice. Cole oozed sexuality and alpha male. Hot damn.

“Ross?”

Ross glanced over his shoulder. “Huh?”

“Your beer?” PJ grinned.

Ross took it and before he could pull his wallet out, Cole had paid for it.

“This one’s on me, Soldier.” Cole winked.

Ross held up the beer. “This is no way gives you a pass into my pants, Ryker.”

“Oh, I know. I’m going to go stock up on cold weather gear. Conditions are downright frosty tonight.” Cole shivered.

Ross cracked a smile. “Isn’t there some other guy you’d like to bend over tonight?”

Cole leaned in until he was a hairs breath from Ross’ lips. “I don’t devote this much time and energy to something that comes easily, Ross. As I said, I’m getting ready for a long hike up a steep slope.” Cole stepped back and grabbed his beer off the bar. “See you around, Collins.”

Sandrine Gasq-Dion’s “A Marrying Man” Is A Good Bet

Unless you love someone, nothing else makes sense. – E.E. Cummings

A Marrying Man is Gasq-Dion’s rapid follow up and continuation to her novel A Betting Man. Blaine and Spencer, who are the best friends of the main characters from A Betting Man, are recruited to arrange and organize both the engagement and wedding of Kent and Terry the sexy love duo from A Betting Man. It’s through this flurry of activity that love, attraction, questioning of sexual orientation and a good dose of Spencer’s lovable, comic foil of a daughter that a relationship blooms and this great stand-alone story takes place.

I had read A Betting Man first and loved the characters, the setting, and the pace of the novel, and I dove head first into A Marrying Man with much anticipation. Though in grand soap opera fashion, this follow up novel picks up where the last novel left off and gives the reader a different perspective with a different story line, this book does a great job of giving the reader a good dose of love being for love’s sake. I am a big fan of love happening no matter the gender. Love does and should conquer all, and in a book where the characters finally succumb to their hearts, one can ask for no better.

My only criticism for the book would be that there was a little too much Shakespearean “he loves me, he loves me not”, but all in all the reader is left with a grand romantic adventure with some steamy sex scenes that do a great job of giving the reader a continuation of a wonderful romance with a great cast of characters.

AUTHOR BIO & LINKS:

Sandrine (Sandy) was born in Inglewood, California. Raised by “Old School” French parents, she later moved to Tucson, AZ. It was there that writing became a hobby. Always told she had a great imagination, Sandy wrote short stories for her friends in high school. In college, she took more writing classes while working on her Criminal Justice degree, but it wasn’t until a soap opera caught her eye that she got involved in male on male romances. On the advice of a friend, Sandy dipped her toes into the world of M/M Romance. Sandy takes the writing seriously and has had countless conversations with gay men as well as hours of research. She’s been involved with the military in one way or another for over twenty years, and has a great deal of respect for our men in uniform. She’s traveled the world, but is currently enjoying the South.

And now for the interview…

~When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?

Middle school. My English teacher told us all to write an essay about where we saw ourselves in ten years. It was due by the end of the week and I wrote it in one day—all ten pages front and back. I got an ‘A’ and she told me I had one hell of an imagination.

~How much of your personality and life experiences are in your writing?

Almost all of it! There are places I’ve been, people I’ve met, situations I’ve been in that most people would say, “Well, that could never happen!” But it does! I think almost all writers pull from their own life, that’s what makes great storytelling! I’ve been involved in the military for over twenty years and the stories from that alone could make another ten books! My personality is most definitely in all my books. I think it comes out the most in my snarky characters.

~Have you ever doubted yourself as a writer and if so, how did you overcome it?

Oh God, all the time! I am so lucky to have friends that back me up and shout in my face when I become a babbling, crying idiot. I don’t think you ever really overcome it. I think you’ll always have that little voice in your head that pokes you and tells you that you’re just not good enough. I think for me, I write the best I can and when I look at a finished manuscript, I know at least ONE person is going to love it, and that’s all I need.

~How do you come up with a title?

It’s been interesting how many times I’ve bounced ideas off my friends who are close to me. Reflash was me talking to firefighter friends. Since the book revolved around Firefighters and Cops, Reflash became the only title I even considered. Mostly I’m looking at the storyline itself and what one word brings it all together. In the instance of The Nik of Time, I let my readers name it!

~When do you do your best writing… morning, afternoon, evening, night?

There really isn’t a set time of day. I TRY to write when the kids are at school, but half the time I’m up until about two in the morning typing like a mad woman. So I’d have to say I get more done in the early morning hours. My editor hates it because I do less punctuation at that time. lol

~Out of all the stories you’ve written which one are you most proud of?

I would have to say Second Time Around it was really my first try at first person and I realized I LOVE writing in the first person. I think in a lot of ways it’s easier and the words flow faster. I like putting myself into that character and bringing him to life.

~Do you plan your stories and, if so, to what extent?

I do and I don’t. I know with the Assassin-Shifter books, I have couples that I plan out way ahead of time (Wyatt and Preston, Devin &Andrei and Keegan and Vince) Then there are the ones that come to me as I’m driving down the road. I’m 16 books into the Assassin-Shifter series and I have so many more to write! Coming up with fresh storylines is where the planning starts. I don’t want to rehash the same story over and over so I’ve added a few characters to mix it up a bit! I’ve also got the books I’m writing for Wilde City Press and those will not be a series, but you’ll see past characters come in!

~How many stories do you work on at any one time?

Oh God, right now I’ve got five going at once. It’s like a never ending voice in my head. Usually it’s when I’m driving down the road I’ll get an idea for a book. Sometimes it’s in the middle of the night!

~What was your favorite character to write, and why?

I think Riley Flynn is my favorite. He’s just so much fun and he has innocence about him. He’s spontaneous and has an inner child that loves wreaking havoc. He’s also very loving and to an extent– naïve.

~Name three things that would surprise your fans to know about you?

I speak fluent French.

I actually hang out with tatted, bulging military men.

I have actually lived in every state I’ve written about. And not just for a few months, we’re talking YEARS.

~What’s your guilty pleasure?

ANGRY BIRDS! lol

~What has been the toughest criticism given to you as an author? What has been the best compliment?

In the beginning I couldn’t afford an editor. My friend and I tried our best, but I’ve never been one to care about where a comma goes and if that period needed to be there. So I think the flack we both took in the beginning hit us both hard. I changed editor’s right after Half Moon Rising but still keep anyone involved in this close to me. They were here from the beginning and shall remain here throughout.

The best compliment hands down are from my readers. When I get an email telling me how much a book lifted someone’s spirits, or just made their day, any five star review can’t beat that.

~What’s the best advice anyone has ever given you?

I had another author tell me never to read reviews below five stars. Normally, I try to adhere to that advice, but there’s still that part of me that wants to see if I could do better. I’m a glutton for punishment.

~If there was one piece of advice you could give a new author, what would it be?

Edit, edit, edit. Try not to take that one star review to heart. If there is one thing I learned over the last year and a half, it’s that you can’t please everyone!

~What was the hardest book for you to write, or the hardest scene in one of your books to write, and why did you struggle with it?

Second Time Around and Summer of Awakenings tie as the books hardest to write. With “Second”, I pulled a lot of emotion from my own loss. I lost my father and my grandmother in a plane crash and I think for me, losing someone so suddenly takes one hell of a toll on you. So the funeral scene in “Second” drained me emotionally. “Summer” was hard to write as well, especially for the character of William and the kids that had been abused. That book was mainly for all the teenage kids I have been blessed to meet, and some of the names in the books are actually theirs.

~When you sit down to write a book, do you go with the flow? Or do you outline and plot all the important details out first?

Both. Some books just write themselves and I’m going with the flow. Other’s I’ve had to actually sit down with a pad of paper and write down how I wanted it to go chapter by chapter. Sometimes I’m writing the ending of the book and then I fill in all the spaces in between. It’s crazy!

~Who are your favorite authors (in your same genre or not) and some of the best books you’ve ever read? What is your favorite book that you remember from childhood?

I fell in love with The Thorn Birds. I think that all-consuming-can’t-have-it love makes a story that’s much more compelling. And the movie was done beautifully! That book has remained my favorite all this time.

I love Stephen King; he’s just got this twisted mind that I love! Dolores Claiborne is my favorite, with Misery close behind!

I love M.A. Church (Hehe), GA Hauser, Mercy Celeste, Mary Calmes, Ethan Day and Geoff Knight, just to name a few!

Feeling inspired yet? I am.

~If your “Muse” were an actual flesh and blood person, what would he/she look like?

A seriously tall, tatted man with bulging muscles!!

~What part of the writing process do you dread?

Research. Although I’ve lived in every state I’ve written about, I still go back and make sure I’ve got that right street, or that building is where I said it is. Researching Russian Prey started with me trying to find a maximum security prison in Russia out in the middle of nowhere. FUN! lol

~Do you prefer hot or cold weather and why?

Now this is funny. I was born in California, but raised in Arizona, so I LOVE hot! BUT, on that same note, I was stationed in Fairbanks Alaska for two years and LOVED the cold. I think in Arizona, I loved the fact that I could just go dip in the pool and get a tan in five minutes. In Alaska, I loved the cold because I could bundle up and watch the Aurora Borealis from my front porch. I’m at an impasse…lol.

~Are you a romantic?

Oh God yes! I believe in love at first sight!

~Do you listen to music when you’re writing?

All the time. I also incorporate songs into the books so my readers know just what song I was listening to when I write that hot/sexy/steamy love scene.

~If we could see your writing space, what would we see?

I’m so organized it’s pathetic. You’d see a very clean desk with little to no clutter. I keep little knick knacks on it that the kids have made for me, or readers have sent me. Other than that, my coaster for my coffee cup and the cat bed.

~Do you own a pet? If so, tell us about him/her!

I own two cats, one dog, three fish and four rats. I’ve had the dog the longest though. She’s a Siberian Husky and fourteen. She set in her ways and loves to drive me up the wall. I had another Siberian, a male named Nikoli, my readers will know that name ;). I lost him last June and adopted my cat, Mateo. (My readers will know that name too). He sits on my desk and watches me work. Nikoli used to sit in my office all the time and I would talk to him about what I was writing. So in a way, Mateo has helped me heal just a bit!

~What are your favorite TV shows?

Supernatural, Castle and The Vampire Diaries. I’ve cut out so much TV in the last year I’ll have to watch all the shows I dumped on Netflix.

~Want to tell us about any projects you have in the works? Or any releases coming soon?

I’m actually writing a follow up to A Betting Man. I’ve also got The Littlest Assassin-Shifters as well as Lesson’s Learned in the works, and four more other books, some in the Assassin series and some off on their own. The Nik of Time Should be out soon. I’m going to be very busy this summer.

~Where can your readers find you on the web?

I have two facebook pages, a blog and a website.

http://www.sandrinegasqdion.com

~Is there any message you’d like to share with readers?

First off, thank you! If it wasn’t for all of you, I would not be where I am. So thank you, thank you, thank you!! Second, I look forward to bringing you many, many more books in the future!

Sandrine Gasq-Dion’s A Betting Man Comes Highly Recommended

You’re better off betting on a horse than betting on a man. A horse may not be able to hold you tight, but he doesn’t wanna wander from the stable at night. – Betty Grable

A rich man moving to a new country living as a poor man. A poor man raised in rural Alabama moving to New York City and becoming rich and notorious. What could bring them together? A bet, of course. And it was a fun ride getting there!

Everyone had always told Kent he looked like David Beckham. He had the ego and the swooning women to go along with his looks. He loved his money above everything. His business partner Blaine was the only one who knew of Kent’s humble beginnings. Kent and Blaine had an unfortunate habit of making silly bets.

The current bet: that Kent must make the next person to walk into their office fall in love with him. Kent also had to convince this person and everyone around them that he loved the stranger just as much. The stakes are not important, because the bet is just stupid. Stupid, but hot!

Terry was born Terrance, almost aristocracy in England. He had left home to make his own way in New York because his parents refused to believe that he was gay. They tried to convince him to marry woman after woman. When he tired of it, he decided living poor in New York was better than living with his parents trying to turn him into what they thought he should be.

After their bet, Terry the bike messenger was the next person to walk into the advertising office shared by Kent and Blaine. While Terry is openly gay, Kent is straight as straight gets. He has a different woman every night. Oh yeah, except for the nights spent playing “gay chicken” with Blaine in college.

What ensues makes for very good reading. Terry’s “what does he see in me”? and Kent’s “maybe I am actually gay” are fun to explore with them. The meeting of the families. Kent’s mom (or as she calls him Kennay in her Alabama accent) manufactures a reason for Kent to return home around Christmas and Kent decides that taking Terry with him is the perfect way to prove that Kent loves him.

Funny thing happened on the way to the last page. They actually fell in love with each other. Kent parents accepted him as gay and capital LOVED Terry. Terry’s parents were so glad to see him after so much time had passed that they fully embraced his being gay and his love for Kent.

Terry inevitably found out about the bet. Kent and Terry had some time apart with Kent begging forgiveness and professing true love. All in humorous fashion of course. I won’t tell you how it ends, but I will tell you that there is bonding over hot dogs.

A really good book. One of Wilde City Press’s first efforts and highly recommended.

Folks, The Novel Approach Is About To Go A Little Wilde

We couldn’t be more thrilled to be playing host this week to Wilde City Press and some of the authors who make that city such a Wilde place to visit. To put a finer point on it:

Wilde City is a metropolis of male fiction brimming with the best in Gay Male Romance, Gay Male Erotica and Gay Male Mainstream books; a place inhabited by the most talented writers in the industry whose page-turning tales will make you laugh, cry and beg for more!

From stories of romance and desire, to thrills and spills, you’ll experience all the fun and fantasy, all the suspense and steaminess, of a city that only sleeps when you do.

You’ll find stories of Gay Romance on just about every corner of Wilde City. Look out for those lingering gazes between strangers as they pass by on the Boulevard of Hopeless Romantics, or book a table at Wilde City’s Gay Rainbow Room and watch someone’s fingers brush against the hand of a man longing to be kissed. Yes, in a city this big, romance is everywhere.

But many other gay worlds exist within Wilde City. Walk through the cobblestone alleys of the Old Docklands and you’re sure to stumble across something that will chill you to the bone. Venture through the haunted mansions of the old Parisian Quarter and you might catch a glimpse of a handsome ghost, or powerful werewolf, or a vampire hungry for your blood. Or perhaps you’d prefer a laugh with the gay characters you’ll meet on Vaudeville Avenue as they bumble their way through life looking for Mr. Right… or Mr. Right Now! Or buy yourself a ticket to gay adventure atop Wilde City’s Empire Tower and board the Wilde World Airship for an action-packed trip of a lifetime!

Then again, if you’ve come to Wilde City for action of a different kind, welcome to a city teeming with Gay Erotica. You’ll find sex in almost every back alley and respectable dive in Wilde City’s notoriously naughty Pink Light District. Or for something that’s sure to turn you on, visit Mr. Charlie Harding’s exclusive black-label sex soiree, ‘Charlie Harding Presents’… because why not get the best in Gay Erotica from the Expert!

It’s time to go Wilde… this City is calling!

We’ll be kicking off the festivities tomorrow with our first guest, author Patrick Darcy, who’ll be discussing erotica and homosexuality in Ireland, so stay tuned for that.

Throughout the week, we’ll have a variety of interviews, videos, guest posts, and some great reviews of more than a few Wilde books.

Here’s what’s on tap for the rest of the week:

Tuesday – Hank Edwards will be our guest, discussing the meshing of multiple paranormal elements into one story/series in Venom Valley, where his book Cowboys & Vampires takes place.

Wednesday – we’ll have Eric Arvin and TJ Klune here with a video that’s sure to be fun.

Thursday – Jacob Z. Flores will have a guest post discussing finding love in dark places, as well as a video reading from his latest release Moral Authority.

Friday – Ethan Stone will be here with an interview and maybe talk a little bit about his book Past Tense.

Saturday – Sandrine Gasq-Dion is our guest, and she’s got a new book out with Wilde City called A Betting Man.

My bet is you won’t want to miss a moment of this!
